The Hunt for Mythological Beasts

Ourania, muse of astronomy, seeks to inspire those who emulate Artemis, goddess of the moon and the hunt, and Orion, the great celestial hunter, by pursuing mythological quarry at Stierbach’s Baronial Birthday celebration!

Hunting plays an important role in Greek mythology, sometimes ending in victory, sometimes in tragedy. While the beasts featured in these stories often had fantastical traits, their more mundane relatives can be found here in Atlantia! Read about several mythological hunts, determine a location at the event that matches a key detail from each story, then follow the nearby “tracks” to capture your quarry (in a photo). Create an epic hunting tale of your own, but don’t worry, the only tragedy you might face would be missing out on this activity!
