Join us in celebrating the vibrant history and artistry of the Barony of Stierbach at our Baronial Birthday, themed “Inspiration of the 9 Muses.” This year’s event honors the classical muses who have inspired creativity and knowledge throughout the ages. Immerse yourself in a day filled with arts, culture, and camaraderie, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Mountain Run Winery.
Activities:
Martial Activities: Witness thrilling displays of prowess with heavy fighting, rapier combat, archery, thrown weapons, and siege engine. Compete for glory in tournaments inspired by the martial spirit of Calliope, muse of epic poetry.
A&S Competitions: Showcase your talents in various Arts and Sciences competitions. Categories will include works inspired by each of the 9 muses, from epic poetry and history to dance and music.
Bardic Circle: Gather around the circle for an afternoon of storytelling, music, and poetry. Share your own tales or simply enjoy the talents of your fellow Scadians in this celebration of Euterpe, muse of music, and Calliope.
